Potsdam, Germany, July 10, 2007 -- Mindquarry, an Open Source collaborative software developer, today announced the appointment of entrepreneur and venture capitalist Olaf Jacobi to its supervisory board. Olaf Jacobi is founder of Collax Inc., a provider of Linux-based server solutions. He is also founder and chairman of Trupoli AG as well as an active business angel for Web and IT start-ups.

As one of three board members, Olaf Jacobi succeeds Eran Davidson, President and CEO of Hasso Plattner Ventures. The other two members are Frank Witte, head of SAP's Global Open Source Office, and Gregor Hochmuth, analyst and Entrepreneur in Residence at Hasso Plattner Ventures.
