Stephan is CEO of Mindquarry. Prior, he has been with Scopeland for more than 15 years as a co-founder, COO and CEO.

Detailed bio

Stephan became the CEO of Mindquarry in November 2006. At that time he was running an own entrepreneural idea. He met the Mindquarry team in spring 2006 and they decided to unite. Prior, Stephan has been with Scopeland for more than 15 years as a co-founder, COO and CEO.

By his original training, Stephan is a technical engineer with a degree from the Technical University Chemnitz, Germany. He started as software engineer in a Berlin electronic equipment company and became the co-founder of Scopeland Software in 1990.

At Scopeland, he started his career in the fields of sales and marketing and became the COO in 1998. In 2000/01 he lead the U.S. company branch in San Francisco, CA.

While in San Francisco, he was an elected member of the board of directors of the German-American Chamber of Commerce of the Western United States (GACC West). Back in Germany, he became the CEO of Scopeland Technology in 2002 to 2006.
