Manage files with Mindquarry Client

Mindquarry allows you to easily share files with others by installing Mindquarry Client. You can try it out in combination with the online demo:

Windows or Linux

Please make sure you have the Java Runtime Environment (free download) installed on your computer.

Log in to the online demo as stated above and afterwards click on the link "Desktop Client" at the bottom of the page.

Now the Mindquarry Desktop Client will install automatically. Read below how to configure the client.

Mac OS X

Download the .dmg file, execute it and follow the instructions. See below for a configuration how-to.

Configuration

On Windows or Linux, the configuration page will show up automatically upon the first installation. On Mac OS X, click on the "Servers" icon if it does not show up right from the start.

Enter the following server details:

  • Server URL: http://demo.mindquarry.org
  • User name: admin
  • Password: admin
  • Local path: Choose a folder on your computer where the local copies of the demo files should reside
When you're done, click on "Synchronize" or "Refresh" to initialize the files workspace and to retrieve the list of tasks.
